Why Power Cable?
Power-cable construction varies by rated voltage, conductor material, number of cores, insulation system, screen, bedding, armor and outer sheath. Correct line planning therefore begins with the cable drawing and the applicable product standard.
Cabletec's catalog supports major conductor-making, laying-up, taping, armoring, sheathing and handling stages. Dedicated medium- or high-voltage insulation systems are not assumed here and must be reviewed separately when required.
