Why Communication Cable?
Copper communication and data cables depend on repeatable conductor diameter, insulation geometry, twist lay, core balance and shielding construction. These factors influence the finished electrical performance and cannot be defined by machine name alone.
The line concept combines Cabletec equipment for fine-wire drawing, insulation, twisting, braiding or shielding, jacketing and measurement. Transmission category or impedance performance is confirmed only after reviewing the complete cable design and test standard.
