450/13 Slip Type Heavy-Duty Copper Rod Breakdown Machine
1. GENERAL DESCRIPTION

This machine is used to draw Φ1.2-Φ3.5mm copper wires. The drawing blocks are mounted in one row. The constant-speed wheel and the other 12 drawing block are driven by two motors respectively. Such design makes easy operation and change dies quickly.

4. CONSTRUCTION OF MAIN COMPONENTS
4.1. Payoff stand

4.1.1. Type: cantilever type

4.1.2. Pay off stand consists of column, cantilever and steering roller.

4.1.3. Height of the column is 5000mm or so. The two aluminum reels can achieve continuous pay off.

4.1.4. On the top of the column, there is an emergency stop device for the whole assembly.

4.1.5. The cantilever is 1700mm length.

4.2. Main drawing machine

4.2.1. Type: slip type. 13-die copper wire drawing machine with drawing blocks of the same diameter

4.2.2. The machine consists of trough for cooling and circulation of drawing emulsion, gearbox, lubrication system, constant speed wheel, main motor and the motor for the constant speed wheel.

4.2.3. Four clip-and-run switches for die stringing by clip-and-run operation. Device to prevent

4.2.4. The drawing block and drawing die holder extend identical distance from the body of gearbox. This special construction results in good rigidity of spare parts significantly.

4.2.5. Drawing blocks adopt steel wheels. Its surface is covered by tungsten carbide to prolong its use life.

4.2.6. Dies can be changed quickly. In need of the change of product size, we can just add or Reduce high speed drawing dies, which reduces the types of drawing dies.

4.2.7. The gearbox is lubricated by a oil pump with a 2.2kw×2=4.4kw. motor. All the gears and Bearings are lubricated by a heat exchange.

4.2.8. The drawing emulsion trough is provided with double doors made of stainless steel, which prevent lubricant from overflowing.

4.2.9. The drawing blocks and drawing dies are lubricated and cooled by immersion and spraying. Drawing emulsion supply and heat exchange cooling system are also offered.

4.2.10. In order to prevent the machine from working without lubrication, an alarm for absence of oil is provided. When a signal of absence of oil is sent, the whole machine will stop.

4.3. Accumulator

4.3.1. Capacity of the accumulator: 7m

4.3.2. Max. Tension : 138N

4.3.3. Tension is regulated by air cylinder pressure

4.4. Annealing device

4.4.1. Type: horizontal DC annealing, speed tracking automatically

4.4.2. Diameter of annealing inlet wire :  Φ1.2 mm—Φ3.5mm

4.4.3. Max linear speed of annealing: 23m/s

4.4.4. 4 pieces-Diameter of annealing nickel-conducting ring: 450(three conducting rings are exchangeable)

4.4.5. The stretching force of softening conductor is even and stable and reaches the international requirement of the stretching rate.

4.4.6. Annealing is a two-period process: preheating period and annealing period

4.4.7. Softening room is protected by steam with hand-operated pressure regulating valve.(The pressure of steam is 0.2Mpa) the dosage is 20kg/H.

4.4.8. The exit is equipped with air-drying device which is hand-operated.(The pressure  0.2~0.4MPa)the dosage is 30 m3/H.

4.4.9. Annealing cooling adopts water circulatory cooling. Heat exchanger is cooled by the wire

The dosage is 30 m3/H.
4.5. Φ500-Φ630 Automatic dual-reel take-up.

4.5.1. Dual-reel spooling bobbin size: PND500~PND630

4.5.2. Max. take up speed: 25m/s(PND630)

4.5.3. Take-up motor: 22kW (two, AC)

4.5.4. When reels need to be changed, the speed will slow down in order to decrease rotating inertia and shorten brake time. Brake is pneumatic butterfly type.

4.5.5. Traverse pitch can be adjusted freely

4.5.6. Reels can move up and down controlled by air pressure. The gripping and relaxation for reels is pneumatic control with mechanical lock.

4.5.7. For reel change, the length counting wheel will send a signal in accordance. with the pre-set length to realize it. The reel change accuracy in the course of the exchange from filled reel to empty reel is up to 99%.

4.6. Dog mould-piercing mill

4.6.1. Pointing roller diameter: Ø110mm

4.6.2. Pointing roller speed: 16 - 18r/min

4.6.4. Pointing section has cut-off function

5. ELECTRICAL CONTROL SYSTEM

5.1. The power of the machine: three phase, 380V, 50HZ.

5.2. AC motor’s speed control are all used SINEE speed regulator equipment

5.3. The machine is controlled by PLC(SIEMENS) and operated on touch screen(10.3"Siemens).

5.4. With stable take-up tension controlling capability. Without break of conductor in emergency situation such as sudden pause for the whole equipment.

5.5. The electrical system has a completely automatic safeguard

6. OTHERS

6.1. Operation direction; The pay off is on the left and the take up is on the right ( from left to right )

6.2. Machine color : according to the color plate offered by customers.

6.3. All the bearings are NSK from Japan;

6.4. The noise of the machine is below 85 db - measured at 1M distance to the machine.

6.5. The two layer doors of the drawing tank is stainless steel 304/2B plate with thick ≥ 2mm,The anneal door material is plastic steel

6.7. Supply operation full software with user manual in English after receipt the commissioning certificate;
